Meeting planned to discuss solar eclipse

An organizational meeting for the solar eclipse will be held on Wednesday, Nov. 18 at 1 p.m. at the Days Inn.

The eclipse is on August 21, 2017 but plans are already being made, as central Wyoming is one of the most desired areas to view the eclipse from. Hot Springs State Park & Boysen State Park are working together to determine plans for events to celebrate this rare eclipse.

The Thermopolis-Hot Springs Chamber of Commerce is involved and anyone else who is interested in planning events should attend the meeting.

Local hotels are already getting requests for information for this event.
