Moonlight Madness hits town

The ghosts and goblins are preparing for Moonlight Madness in downtown Thermopolis on Thursday, Oct. 29.

Kicking off the festivities will be a friendly Haunted House for Hope from 4:30-5:30 at the H.O.P.E. Agency located at 426 Big Horn Street.

The Masons will be serving tacos from 5-7 p.m. at the Masonic Hall on Arapahoe St.

Pinnacle Bank will once again be judging the kids’ costumes starting at 5:45 p.m. in Bicentennial Park. Prizes will be awarded to the top winners in several different age groups.

From 6-8 p.m. there will be food, fun and all kinds of specials at local participating businesses. Children are welcome to trick or treat at the stores.

Las Fuentes will be having their customary piñata bash immediately after the costume contest. The bash is free and there will also be complimentary apple cider.

Needful Things and Hazel-n-Pearl’s will be hosting free haunted bus rides.
