HSC Memorial Hospital MRI project on track

The Hot Springs County Memorial Hospital’s new MRI project is on track according to Robin Roling, the HSCMH CEO.

Roling said during the hospital’s monthly board meeting that an invitation for bids was sent to general contractors on Oct. 19, and this week the hospital will have a mandatory walkthrough for all interested bidders. Bids must be presented by the week of Nov. 19, and will then be presented to the board during the group’s November meeting. If all goes according to plan, construction will begin Dec. 1.

County commissioners funded the hospital’s Master Facility Plan Update this month, and the firm in charge of undertaking the plan, Erdman, will be in Thermopolis on Nov. 11-12. The group will meet both with hospital staff and board members, but also interested members of the community. Roling hopes that Erdman will have broad strokes of the plan available for the community to hear.
