Halloween activities planned for Oct. 30-31

A variety of events are planned in Thermopolis to celebrate Halloween.

After you attend Moonlight Madness Thursday, Oct. 29 there is still plenty of fun to be had.

The Hot Springs County Library will be sponsoring a Halloween Party Friday, Oct. 30.

Ages 8 and under are invited from 2:30-3:30 p.m. and ages 9 and over are invited from 3:30-5 p.m. There will be prizes award for best costume in each age group.

Bring your ghouls and goblins to Hot Springs County Memorial Hospital Saturday, Oct. 31 for trick or treating.

Ritz Theater is offering a special Halloween showing of The Rocky Horror P icture Show Saturday, Oct. 31 at 10:30 p.m.

First released in the UK in 1975, Rocky Horror quickly became a cult classic with midnight showings all across the country for nearly 30 years.

Featuring Barry Bostwick, Tim Curry, Susan Sarandon and Meat Loaf, the audience is urged to participate in the showing, dressing like their favorite character, tossing rice, dancing and singing along with the show.

Admission is $5. Prop bags to go along with the movie will be available for purchase.
