Young volleyball players learn skills

Recreation District Youth Volleyball has wrapped up for the season with the girls learning basic skills of the game while having fun.

Coaches were Lisa Shaffer and Nikki Slagle.

Girls who participated in youth volleyball include: third graders Madyson Landon, Kendall Bradshaw, Sofia Gerber, Brailee DeVries, Sydney Peterson, Hanna O'Keefe, Brooke Richter, Nevaeh Praytor and Brooklyn Dieu; fourth graders Sydney Shaffer, Kaitlin Barral and Maggie Landon; fifth graders Lauren Yarrington, Jayci Basse, Isabella Gerber, Chloe Mascorro, Lexi Overfield and Dana Magelky; sixth graders Caydence Becher, Ashlynn Harvey and Bronwyn Dobbins.
