The Thermopolis Middle School girls finished the season with a second place finish at Powell, just getting edged out by Cody.
Coming home with four of the top ten All Conference runners: Tahja Hunt, Kenna Bomengen, Jasmine Collins, and Wyatt McDermott. With this being the final meet of the season in Powell,
Coach Brenna Abel had this to say "We wanted to end the season with an honest effort; leaving everything on the course and our kids definitely did that in Powell, I'm just so proud of them of their performance today and a great season."
High School Bobcat runners are keeping up the fight. In Powell, while not placing in the top five, they produced some great results.
Liz Rhodes took almost a whole minute off of her time compared to last year. Adam Hanson was strong and had his fastest personal time of the season. Coach Abel said "Chandra Maddock ran very even and consistent this race, we like to see the milesplit coming down and becoming for even during this time of the season and she got the job done today in Powell."
Next up for the Bobcats is their conference meet at Foster Gulch Golf Course hosted by Rocky Mountain on Thursday, October 15th starting at 4 p.m.
