Original townsite program Saturday

Land surveyor Rick Hudson and professional engineer Anthony Barnett will present a program titled 1901 Thermopolis Town Corners at the Hot Springs County Historical Society meeting Saturday, Oct. 10.

Hudson and Barnett will give a brief history of the original and official surveys of the Thermopolis townsite and the perpetuation of the town corners set by the original surveyor, D.V. Bayne in 1901.

The meeting begins at 2 p.m. at the county museum. Everyone is welcome.
