Attacking the wilds of Cody's cross country course the Thermopolis Bobcat Cross Country team participating in their first meet of the season tore the terrain up.
Jules Ward came in 2nd with a time of 20:52. Stacy Lewis finished 16th place clocking in at 25:40 and Liz Rhodes came in 23rd place with a time of 28:01.
The Bobcats are heading to Billings next on Friday starting time at 4 p.m.

The Thermopolis Middle School team rose to the challenge as well. With 47 girls and 31 boys participating.
Tahja Hunt placed 4th with a time of 14:19 and McKenna Bomengen placing 5th with a time of 14:25. Erica Meier come in at 11th place with a time of 15:57, not far behind was Wyatt McDermott in 16th place with 16:02. Emme Norsworthy was 22nd at 17:16, Jasmine Collins came in 33rd at 18:41, Hailie Martinez was 36th with a time of 19:01. Not to far behind in 37th place was Jariah Cogdill at 19:27, Hayley Melin ran a 21:27 placing 43rd, followed up by Bronwyn Dobbins and Katie Burrows in 45th and 46th. Dobbins had a time of 26:34 and Burrows with a time of 29:08.
