Paintbrush Dental welcomed Dr. Will Robinson, DDS on Monday July 13. Robinson comes to Thermopolis with a varied geographical background.
Born in Maine and raised in Florida, Robinson eventually joined the Air Force working as a dental assistant which added to his list of travels. The Air Force took him to Oklahoma where Robinson was accepted into Oklahoma University College of Dentistry where he graduated in 2005.
Robinson is passionate about helping people with his hands saying, "To see a smile on a patient's face is worth a thousand thank you's." It is this passion that led him to volunteer and spend service time in places such as Mexico, Indonesia, Hong Kong, Vietnam, and Guam providing rural communities with dental care. While doing this humanitarian work in Guam, Robinson met Paintbrush Dental's Dr. Leif Polson, DDS, who later invited Robinson to join him in Thermopolis.
The call of Wyoming's outdoors was a big draw to Robinson and his wife and children. The family enjoys hunting, camping, fishing and finds the conservative nature of the state in-line with their way of thinking.
All of these factors along with the opportunity to practice dentistry in a family-friendly town played a part in Robinson moving to Thermopolis. He stated that he looks forward to getting involved in the community and is currently accepting new patients at Paintbrush Dental.
