Hey batter batter swing

Take yourself out to the ball game at the Hot Springs County Fairgrounds for an evening of All-American fun before it's too late. Baseball and Co-ed softball participation is on the rise this year but the seasons are starting to come to a close. Thermopolis Senior Babe Ruth ballplayers joined forces with Worland for the 2015 season and are scheduled to play in the state tournament in Rock Springs June 25-26. Plenty of in-town games are still on schedule for the co-ed softball teams. The last regular games of the season are scheduled for June 23 and 25 and tournament games will be held July 7th, 9th, and the championship on July 14th.

Recreation District Director David Evans encourages everyone from the community to be a part of the fun and come down to the fairgrounds to watch the games. The games are not only a great opportunity to watch America's favorite pastime, but also support local participants, and get involved. After all, as Evans noted, "Programs like this don't exist without volunteers."
