ESA members attend state convention

The state convention of Epsilon Sigma Alpha was held May 29-31, in Wheatland. Members of Alpha Phi Chapter #1148 attending were: Brenda Barnes, Kim Enis, Michelle Herring, Stefanie Ireland, Cindy Magelky, Linda Ziegler and Jenifer Grimm, who served the past year as State President.

Vickie Farris, the International Council President from Idaho, installed Jenifer Grimm for her second term as President of the E.S.A. Wyoming State Council. The following awards were received by local chapter members:

Outstanding Chapter of the Year 6-15 Members, Gold Link Award for Excellence in Reporting Educational Programs, Distinguished Athenian Award for Educational Director (Cindy Magelky), Gold Seal Merit Award, Outstanding Educational Program, Best Reporting Chapter Secretary (Stefanie Ireland), Best Chapter History Report (Jenifer Grimm), Best Reporting Philanthropic Chair (Stefanie Ireland), Most Philanthropic Hours per Member, Most Money to Disaster Fund, Outstanding Display Table, Best Chapter Skit, Outstanding Woman of the Year (Cindy Magelky), She’s An Oldie but a Goodie for Years of Service (Cindy Magelky), Most Chapter Participation Association of the Arts, Most Individual Participation Association of the Arts (Michelle Herring).

Most Philanthropic Money per Member, Most Money to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, Most Money to Easter Seals, Most Money to E.S.A. Foundation Scholarship, Most Miles Traveled to Convention, Outstanding Philanthropic Project—KZMQ St. Jude’s Radiothon.
