Up! Up! and Away!

The first home in the Crimson View subdivision was placed on Monday via a crane from JMS Crane and Rigging out of Billings.

The home was brought to Thermopolis in three pieces on semi trucks, then each piece was carefully lifted from the truck and placed on the full-basement foundation and secured in place.

The new subdivision, owned by Scott Miller and Rob Schmidt, was approved by the Hot Springs County Commissioners less than a year ago, and can be found behind the Lutheran Church on Highway 20 South.

The spec home was built by Centennial Homes, also from Billings.
