HSC valuation estimates

County Assessor, Shelley Deromedi, has released updated estimates on the values of Hot Springs County. Final figures will not be available until next week after the final hearing of assessment.

Deromedi figures the current local assessment at $50,592,682, but the final figure will not be available until June 15.

Final assessment on state assessed utilities is $5,783,687. Other final figures include hard minerals in the county at $3,666,132, oil production during 2014 at $167,162,982 and gas production for 2104 was $399,035.

The railroad assessment will be final by July 1, however, using the 2014 value, Deromedi estimates that assessment should come in at $3,855,219.

Using the above figures, the estimated county valuation is up 1.73 percent for a total value of $231,459,737.
