The Hot Springs Count Sheriff’s Office, assisted by the Thermopolis Police Department, recently executed several drug related search warrants.
These search warrants were a result of an ongoing criminal investigation. Several arrests have been made and charges ranging from misdemeanor to felony have been filed.
The amount of information gained from the investigation, search warrants and arrests will likely result in more search warrants and more arrests in the near future.
Law Enforcement has obtained records that indicate names, phone numbers and addresses of individuals involved with the sale and use of illegal controlled substances in Thermopolis and Hot Springs County.
Illegal drug use is a community problem. Hot Springs County Law Enforcement encourages the public to become involved with providing information related to suspected illegal drug activity, such as frequent visitors to a residence only staying a short while, all times of the day and night.
Descriptions of persons, vehicle license plates, date and times are extremely helpful to law enforcement in obtaining search warrants for illegal drugs. This information can be given anonymously.
