    For young students looking to get in on some sports action, registration is currently open for the Hot Springs County Recreation District’s youth football and volleyball programs. The football program is for students in first through sixth grade during the 2018-19 school year. The fee is $35, with a $55 equipment deposit. The deposit will be returned at the end of the season when the equipment is checked in and is not damaged.     It’s getting time to put away the bats and mitts, as the Hot Springs County Recreation District’s Adult Co-Ed Softball League is coming to a close in the next few weeks. But make sure you’re practicing those bumps, sets, digs and spikes and are ready to get your toes in the sand for Adult Co-Ed Sand Volleyball program.     Another Big Horn Basin Football Camp is in the books, held last weekend at LeRoy Hayes Memorial Field, one of the founders of the camp 29 years ago.     Last Saturday marked the 44th Annual Wyoming Shrine Bowl at Cheney Memorial Field in Casper, and Thermopolis Bobcat Noah Schwalbe was part of the winning North team, coming out on top of the South team, 13-7.
