    The Bobcat Golf Team hosted their home tournament last weekend, the final tournament before the State 2A Tournament in Newcastle this weekend. Coach Joey Johnson said the team played their best golf yet on their home greens, carding many personal best scores, adding if they keep this up, they may be very competitive this coming weekend.     The Thermopolis football team suffered a 47-16 loss Friday night in their matchup against Buffalo. Coach Matt McPhie stated, "We had some costly turnovers early in the game and found ourselves quickly behind.     The Lady Bobcat volleyball team saw action in Rawlins last weekend at the Rawlins Invitational, starting things out on Friday with pool play. First games in the pool were against Pinedale where the girls lost 7-21 and 14-21, but coach Shannon Hill notes Kelly Johnson had three kills and six digs during the games.     This past weekend saw two competitions for the Thermopolis cross country team, with runners at the Berry Bryant Invite at Riverton on Thursday and the Michelle Ludwig Invite at Sheridan on Saturday.     Thermopolis Middle School's volleyball season is underway and last week was a very busy week for them, playing Cloud Peak on Thursday, Meeteetse on friday and then Powell and Cody at a quad meet on Saturday.     The Bobcat golf team went over the mountain last Thursday for the Buffalo Invitational Golf Tourney. Coach Joey Johnson said the Buffalo course is the hardest the team has played so far this year and their first day scores reflected that.     The Bobcat football team was dealt a heavy blow last Friday with a 43-0 loss on the road against Big Horn. Coach Matt McPhie said the Bobcats dug a hole for themselves early on in the game, giving up 29 points in the first 14 minutes.
