    If you happened to catch the Bobcat Volleyball team at home last Friday you probably noticed a sea of pink as they played Newcastle in their annual "Pink Out" matches for Breast Cancer Awareness.     Thermopolis Middle School girls volleyball wrapped up their season this past weekend with the eighth graders playing at home and the seventh graders playing in Lander.     The Lady Bobcat volleyball teams had a really busy week last week with Senior Night last Thursday against Worland and then a quick trip to Glenrock on Saturday for out of town matches, too.     Cross country runners took on a new type of event with the Cody Foxes and Hounds last Friday, though weather conditions were certainly less than ideal. Coach Stephanie Metz said, “It was cold and wet, and I was freezing.     The Lady Bobcat volleyball team saw a lot of court time this past week between playing Lovell at home, then away in Lander, followed by two days of their home tournament.     Beginning with the girls middle school basketball program in the fall of 2019 Hot Springs County School District #1 and Thermopolis Middle School have agreed to let sixth grade student-athletes try-out for the remaining positions on the girls and boys middle school basketball teams. Little Dribblers are for those kindergarten and first grade, the Developmental program is for second and third graders and the Junior Bobcat division is for boys in fourth through sixth grades.
