    The Thermopolis Bobcat Football team ended the season with a large number of players named to the All State and All Conference teams. First team All-Conference selections were Jarron Mortimore, Riley Shaffer, Duder Harvey, Remington Ferree, Blake Williams, Cade McLean and Logan Cole. Second team All-Conference players were Jason Clouse, Oran Coyne, Logan Shumway, Jase Longwell, Roedy Farrell, Matthew Daniels and Eli McCumber.     The Bobcats fought a tough battle against the defending state champs Friday night in the 2A Wyoming High School State Football Semifinals, but in the end, Buffalo proved too strong. Bobcats ended their season defeating five different 2A opponents. Friday night's game included touchdowns by Duder Harvey, Jase Longwell, and Logan Cole.     The weekend in Buffalo at the High School Regional Volleyball Tournament did not go as planned for Thermopolis’ Lady Cats, but they played hard through both days and held their heads high with confidence. “This weekend was quite heartbreaking for our team,” said head coach Shannon Hill. “We did everything right, we showed up to play and we played hard and well.     Thermopolis Middle School’s girls basketball teams played Buffalo last Saturday with mixed results. The only team to come out with a win for the day was the seventh grade B team. “They were our only team to walk away with a win,” said head coach Ashley Cleare. “I would say the game were a good learning experience for us all, coaches included.     The high school girls returned from the 2A State Championships in Afton with a second place win - Wyoming Indian placed first - and individual runners taking high spots in the top 10. Tahja Hunt finished fifth with 22:06.47; Hallie Martinez seventh with 22:14.22; and McKenna Bomengen eighth with 22:24.96. The #11 ranked 3A East Bobcats will take on #9 ranked Torrington in their first game, which will be at the Buffalo High School starting at 12:30 on Friday.     Thermopolis was home to the Five Rivers Conference Meet last Friday, and the runners really showed they knew their home course. Three of our girls placed in the top 10, and all placed in the top 25.
