The Thermopolis Bobcat Cheer squad attended the Heart Mountain Regional Spirit Competition in Cody last weekend, bringing home third place honors. Thermopolis Middle School’s eighth grade boys basketball teams are getting plenty of time in on the boards with several games over the last week. Bobcat wrestlers made an early morning trip to Greybull Saturday to compete in their one day tourney with 12 other teams including the returning 2A state champion Moorcroft Wolves. The Hot Springs Country Recreation District is opening registration for its Start Smart Sports Program. It is offered to all kids ages three to five years old for basketball, soccer and baseball. This is a noncompetitive, one-on-one with the child’s parent, which focuses on developing fundamentals of each sport to teach the basics of each sport.
