Douglas is undefeated on the year and the girls gave everything they had in the game yet ended up falling by a final score of 77-26. The Bobcats came home from the 2A State Wrestling Tournament in Casper with four state champions and a fifth place finish for the team, just outside of the trophies. The Lady Cat basketball team lost a hard fought contest with Buffalo last Friday night. The girls rallied in the third quarter to overcome a double digit deficit, but in the fourth quarter, turnovers plagued them, and they fell to Buffalo by a final score of 70-52. The Bobcat boys varsity basketball team took on Newcastle at home on Feb. 18 and came away with 80-69 win. The Lady Cats did not fair so well and varsity players lost to Newcastle 44-29. The first dual of the day was against Greybull. “We dominated the dual with a 54-24 win with only two losses,” said coach McDermott.
