    Bobcats opened their spring golf season in Worland last Friday. For the high school boys Hardy Johnson shot an impressive 72, Wyatt McDermott 91, Seth Weyer 99, Kyle Roessing 96, Jonah Needham 116, Spencer Calhoun 130 and Chance Axtell (TMS) 137.     Lady Bobcat Kamry Bowman earned All-Conference honors in class 3A girls basketball for the 2020-21 season. Bobcat Hardy Johnson received All-Conference honors in class 3A boys basketball. Jase Longwell and Adley Coyne were recognized as honorable mentions. Bowman scored 148 points during the season, 70 rebounds, 56 assists, 38 steals and 3 blocks.   • Track and field heads into third week of competition

    Some members of the Bobcat Track and Field team have two events under their belt while some are just getting started. Due to spring break, some team members were not able to participate in the March 27 or April 1 competition because they had not attended enough practices.     The Thermopolis Wrestling Club had 23 wrestlers attend Montana Open last Saturday and Sunday. There were approximately 1,800 wrestlers at the tournament and the Thermopolis competitors had several tough matches. Some wrestlers had brackets with as many as 39 wrestlers.     The Lady Cats fell to Douglas in the first round of 3A Regional Basketball action last Thursday. Douglas is undefeated on the year and the girls gave everything they had in the game yet ended up falling by a final score of 77-26.     The Bobcats came home from the 2A State Wrestling Tournament in Casper with four state champions and a fifth place finish for the team, just outside of the trophies.     The Lady Cat basketball team lost a hard fought contest with Buffalo last Friday night. The girls rallied in the third quarter to overcome a double digit deficit, but in the fourth quarter, turnovers plagued them, and they fell to Buffalo by a final score of 70-52.     The Bobcat boys varsity basketball team took on Newcastle at home on Feb. 18 and came away with 80-69 win. The Lady Cats did not fair so well and varsity players lost to Newcastle 44-29.     The Bobcat wrestling team finished their regular season on a high note in Shoshoni on Saturday winning three duals. The first dual of the day was against Greybull. “We dominated the dual with a 54-24 win with only two losses,” said coach McDermott.
