Bobcat golfers opened their season at the Park County Shootout Aug. 12-13. "We have had a great start to the 2021-2022 golf season. At the Hot Springs County Rec District Adult Softball Championship Game, it was between One Stop Sparkplugs and One Eyed Buffalo. They had split the season series 2-2, with OEB winning their games 16-13 and 13-11, while Sparkplugs won their two with scores of 19-10 and 14-11. Jase Longwell was named year end all around boy during the Wyoming High School Rodeo Finals held in Douglas last weekend. Jase Longwell scored 54 in the first go in saddle bronc riding and 41 in the short go for 95 in the average on two. The 48th annual Wyoming Shrine Bowl All-Star football game was held in Casper last Saturday. The game pits the North against the South Bobcats Logan Cole and Remington Ferree were selected to play on the North team. Head coach is Matt McFadden of Cody. The Bobcat Booster club is preparing to return the annual 3 on 3 Basketball Tournament after missing last year due to COVID-19. Decisions were made by the Booster Club in March to bring the event back this Memorial Day weekend, the last weekend in May. The tournament was taken over by the booster club five years ago and has been growing every year. Last year’s cancellation was disheartening to all involved.
