    The Bobcats just finished up their eighth week of the 2021-22 boys basketball season and are looking at about a month left. The 3A varsity Bobcats took on the #3 2A Rocky Mountain Grizzlies on the road last Thursday. The boys fought hard but fell short of a win with a final score of 60-49.     The Lady Cats were on the road Friday to take on Newcastle and then played at home on Saturday against Douglas. On January, 18 the Bobcats had their first game against Powell with both A & B 8th graders walking away with the win. The A team score was 37-31 and B team was 24-18.     The Bobcat wrestlers were in Lander this last weekend and were short wrestlers due to injuries and illness. The Cats that were able to attend worked hard and fought for their placements.     Thermopolis 3A boys Bobcats varsity team is headed into a busy schedule the end of the week with a 6-6 overall record. The boys lost a close game against Newcastle on the road, The game went into overtime and the Bobcats fell just short with a 58-55 loss. On Saturday at home the Bobcats took on the Douglas Bearcats.     Bobcat wrestlers dominated at their tournaments last week bringing home several wins. Friday in Greybull the Bobcats beat the Buffs 57-13.     The Lady Bobcat basketball players traveled to Pinedale to go up against Pinedale, Lyman and Rawlins this past weekend.
