    WAWA Middle School State Wrestling was held in Pinedale in December. Two Thermopolis Middle Schoolers placed during the tournament. Lilly Quintanilla placed first at 95 lbs.     Bobcat boys basketball varsity and junior varsity teams both got wins on Saturday at home. The varsity team had a blow out against Glenrock with a final score of 72-28. There were four Bobcats that contributed to buckets by shooting into the double digits. Passing, spacing and off ball movement had improved tremendously this week helping the Cats with the win.     The Bobcat Speech and Debate team competed in the 2021 Cheyenne East Holiday Classic, which had 800+ entries from 19 states and 3 countries. Jean-Luc Willson was one spot out from breaking into semifinals in Extemporaneous Speaking. He finished 10th in a huge group of varsity Extemporaneous speakers.     The Thermopolis Bobcat Wrestlers went to the Battle of the Big Horns with the numbers not on their side as 10 wrestlers were not able to participate due to illness. The thirteen wrestlers that were able to attend had three duals on Friday winning against Buffalo and the #2 seated Warriors. The Bobcats lost to Pinedale on Friday who ended up with 2nd in the Gold bracket against Star Valley.     The Lady Bobcats varsity team took on Glenrock on home turf this past weekend walking away with the win, 45-38. The Lady Cats came from behind utilizing teamwork and were able to get the win.     Thermopolis Middle School Lady Bobcat 8th graders finished up their season this last weekend at Conference placing 4th in Cody. “They had a couple hard fought games,” said Coach Ashley Cleare.     Thermopolis Bobcat Wrestlers started their season strong on Friday and Saturday in Powell. The Bobcat Varsity Cats placed 4th out of 21 teams and JV placed 6th in the team standings. “We looked good for the start of the season, especially on our feet.
