    Bobcat wrestlers dominated at their tournaments last week bringing home several wins. Friday in Greybull the Bobcats beat the Buffs 57-13. Brody Sorensen went into overtime and got the sudden death takedown to win the match. “The entire team was full of energy in Basin and had a lot of fun on and off the mat cheering on their team-mates,” expressed Coach Travis McDermott about the Bobcats.     The Lady Cats basketball teams were at home this past weekend against Greybull, Wyoming Indian, and Burlington. The Varsity Ladies played against Greybull and walked away with the win 35-27.     The Lady Bobcat basketball players traveled to Pinedale to go up against Pinedale, Lyman and Rawlins this past weekend. To start the weekend, the Lady Cats went up against the second ranked Lyman. The Cats played a tough first half and were only down by 6 points. The Lyman girls were the most physical team the Cats have played and they played hard, unfortunately in the second half they lost the battle to Lyman with a score of 51-29.     After a break in action for the holidays, varsity Bobcat wrestlers hit the road to Douglas with eight wrestlers. Wyatt McDermott placed 2nd and Roedy Farrell placed 3rd.     The Bobcat Varsity Boys Basketball team came back from the holiday break to start their weekend with a slow start against Pinedale last week, with a score of zero at the end of the first quarter. In the second quarter, the rust wore off and the Bobcats out scored Pinedale 22-6. The Bobcats tried to pull forward but couldn’t quite do it.     Bobcat boys basketball varsity and junior varsity teams both got wins on Saturday at home. The varsity team had a blow out against Glenrock with a final score of 72-28. Jean-Luc Willson was one spot out from breaking into semifinals in Extemporaneous Speaking. He finished 10th in a huge group of varsity Extemporaneous speakers.     The Thermopolis Bobcat Wrestlers went to the Battle of the Big Horns with the numbers not on their side as 10 wrestlers were not able to participate due to illness.
