Lady Bobcat Kamry Bowman received 3A girls basketball all-conference honors. Layne Myers, Mariah Brooks and Ruthane Johnson were named honorable mention. Porshia Birdsley recently competed in the Cheyenne Colt Breaker's Strongman competition, which is part of the all-around the world competitive powerlifting. Birdsley took first place in the women's lightweight category of under 165 pounds of body weight. There were eight other girls in her category. Last weekend was the end of the Bobcat boys 3A basketball season at State in Casper. Thursday the boys went up against Powell Panthers and lost 70-40 in a tough game. That sent them to the consolation semi-finals where they faced the Worland Warriors. Hot Springs State Park has a frisbee/disc golf course just north of the Chamber of Commerce Building that is open year-round for play. For those interested in getting the discs to play, stop by the Chamber to play for free. The frisbee golf course is 9 holes with baskets.
