Hot Springs County High School Speech and Debate put the finishing touches on a picture perfect season at the National Speech and Debate Association (NSDA) 2022 National Tournament in Louisville, Kentucky last week. The NSDA National Tournament included over 6500 competitors this year. It was the largest NSDA Tournament in history. The Big Horn Basin Football Camp was held at the Hot Springs County High School grounds earlier this past week. Director Heath Hayes said they had 343 athletes participate and that they came from all over the region and some even from out of state. There were about 30 staff members facilitating the camp. Porshia Birdsley recently competed in the Cheyenne Colt Breaker's Strongman competition, which is part of the all-around the world competitive powerlifting.
