The Thermopolis Middle School wrestling team attended their first tournament in Powell on October 22. Teams included at the tourney were Laurel, Mont., Powell, Cody, Lovell, Worland and Rocky Mountain l. Coach Toby Emery said, “This was our first tournament and first competition of the season. The Varsity Football team headed to Lyman last Friday to take on the Eagles. The Bobcats fought hard but came up short, losing 58-25. “The Bobcats got into a shoot-out with the two-time defending state champion Lyman Eagles this past Friday. Thermopolis Golf Course President Kevin Simpson provided an update on their board and golf course activities. Their new hours are 10 a.m. until 7 p.m. Monday through Friday and 8 a.m. until 7 p.m. on Saturday, weather, and staff permitting. Events will pick back up in 2023 to finish off the 2022-23 season.
