The Thermopolis Middle School wrestling team attended their first tournament in Powell on October 22. The Varsity Football team headed to Lyman last Friday to take on the Eagles. The Bobcats fought hard but came up short, losing 58-25. “The Bobcats got into a shoot-out with the two-time defending state champion Lyman Eagles this past Friday. The Lady Cat volleyball team had a busy weekend hosting several teams on their home turf, including Big Piney, Little Snake River, Burlington, Encampment, Shoshoni and Riverside. Thermopolis Golf Course President Kevin Simpson provided an update on their board and golf course activities. Their new hours are 10 a.m. until 7 p.m. Monday through Friday and 8 a.m. until 7 p.m. on Saturday, weather, and staff permitting. Events will pick back up in 2023 to finish off the 2022-23 season.
