    Thermopolis Wrestling Club hosted Wrestleopolis on Saturday and walked away with 14 two style champions and several other one style champions. As a team, Thermopolis came out first in both folkstyle and freestyle competition from a large field of teams.     Fifth graders - The fifth grade boys traveling basketball team won the Silver Bracket at the 33rd Annual Casper Youth Basketball Tournament last weekend. They went 3-0 on Saturday and started Sunday with a tough 36-32 loss to the Saratoga Panthers. The boys defeated Rawlins in a 32-22 win to advance to the championship game, which was a rematch against Saratoga. They were able to claim the championship with a 42-36 victory.     Hot Springs County High School freshman Lady Cat basketball player Jayssie Owsley as received accolades for the 2022-23 season by being named to the Girls 3A West All Conference post-season awards list. Bobcat Cord Simeral, a senior, was named to the Boys 3A West All Conference post-season awards list. Honors were chosen in a vote by the head coaches. In overall season stats, for all girls in 3A West, Owsley came in 9th for scoring per game averages with 8.7. For the season, Owsley scored a total of 198 points, the highest for the Lady Cats. In their first game, the Bobcats went up against Lyman, losing 51-73 at the final buzzer. “I thought our team came out and played really well in the first half against Lyman.     The Bobcat wrestlers finished strong at the 2A West Regional Tournament placing 3rd behind Kemmerer and Big Piney. The cats qualified 12 of 14 wrestlers for the state tournament this week in Casper. “We had seven wrestlers place in the top four and will be seeded at state.
