    The “A” Team of the Hot Springs County Middle School boys basketball were the number 4 seed going into last month’s 2025 Big Horn Conference Tournament. The tournament was hosted by Hot Springs County, with games played at both the middle school, as well as at the high school. This year’s A team was composed of eight eighth graders and two seventh graders.     Thermopolis Wrestling Club members were divided across the state last weekend competing in tournaments in Gillette, Riverton and Pinedale. Individual and team points were unavailable for the Riverton tournament and team points were unavailable for the tournaments in Gillette and Pinedale. The club will hold their annual home tournament this Friday and Saturday at the high school gym with Greco starting at 6 p.m. on Friday.     The Bobcats sent six wrestlers the Junior State tournament, which was held in Riverton last Saturday. The tournament serves as a qualifier for the Freestyle and Greco Wyoming Team, which will compete in Fargo this coming July at the National Tournament. Sophomore Lilly Quintanilla led the way for the Lady Cats, completing her second Triple Crown, winning both the Freestyle and the Greco Tournaments.     Bobcats earn four state championships The Hot Springs County High School Bobcat wrestlers were in Casper last weekend to compete in the state wrestling championships. In a spectacular outing, the Cats placed third in the 2A team standings, and crowned four individual State Champions.     Last weekend was packed with wrestling action for the Thermopolis Wrestling team. On Friday and Saturday, members traveled to Cheyenne for the Chaos at the Capital 3-Style Tournament. Individual and team points were not available for the Cheyenne tournament.     The Hot Springs County High School Bobcat wrestlers traveled to Big Piney last week for the Class 2A West Regional Tournament. The Cats garnered 151 team points, to finish as Runner-Up to the Kemmerer Rangers at 177 points.     Player selections were announced last week for the 52nd Annual Wyoming Shrine Bowl game, which will be played at Cheney Alumni Field, at Natrona High School in Casper, on June 14, 2025.
