While they did achieve the goal of making it to the gold bracket, they fell to Little Snake River in the first match of bracket play on Saturday to end their weekend short of the championship game with scores of 20-25 and 26-27. Thermopolis hosted the Bobcat Invitational Cross Country meet at the Thermopolis Golf Course on Friday, September 22. The Thermopolis High School Golf Team headed to Newcastle last Thursday to compete in the 2023 Class 2A State Golf Tournament. The event was hosted by Upton High School on September 15 and 16. Thirty six holes were played over the two day tournament. Hot Springs County High School cross county competed at the Chief Nation Invitational meet last Saturday in Ethete. The girls team was led by Jayda Griffin’s time of 24:14.43, earring her a 12th place finish. Sadie Martinez had a time of 26:59.06 followed by Ava Dafoe at 28:17.64. The Bobcat varsity football team fell to #2 Mountain View last week in a final conference game score of 14-0. Hot Springs County High School (HSCHS) Bobcat cheerleaders Adriana Deere and Margo Keller attended the All American Cheer camp in Kemmerer on July 31 through August 3.
