The Thermopolis Bobcats traveled to Cokeville last Friday for a game against the second place Panthers. With an early morning travel schedule, and after a nearly five hour bus ride, the Cats rolled into the western part of the state, and arrived in the town of Cokeville. The Lady Cats faced off against Lander and Lyman on Friday and got back on the bus Saturday morning to go to Powell to take on Mountain View and Pinedale. The Thermopolis High School Golf Team headed to Newcastle last Thursday to compete in the 2023 Class 2A State Golf Tournament. The event was hosted by Upton High School on September 15 and 16. Hot Springs County High School cross county competed at the Chief Nation Invitational meet last Saturday in Ethete. The girls team was led by Jayda Griffin’s time of 24:14.43, earring her a 12th place finish. Sadie Martinez had a time of 26:59.06 followed by Ava Dafoe at 28:17.64.
