    The Hot Springs County 4-H Shooting Team hit the mark at the State Shoot earlier this month with multiple individual wins scoring in the top ten for archery, shotgun, pistol, and rifle classes. On top of that, the Junior Shotgun Team took 7th place while the Junior Archery Team took 1st in the state. The State Shoot took place July 9 -12 in Douglas and hosted over 600 youth competitors.     It’s time for the younger generation to show their stuff at the Wyoming Junior Rodeo Association (WJRA) rodeo July 25 and 26 at the Hot Springs County Fairgrounds. The WJRA is expecting 40 to 50 cowboys and cowgirls. Performances start at 10 a.m. on Saturday, 9 a.m. on Sunday, and Cowboy Church will be offered at 8 a.m. on Sunday.     The Thermopolis boys and girls track teams ended their season strong at the State Meet last week. The boys team had five all-state members and a second place finish while the girls had one all-state member and a fifth place final.
