Brad Morrison is the new director for the Hot Springs County Recreation District. Originally from Lamar, Colo., Morrison moved to Thermopolis five years ago with his wife, Staci. Once here, Brad found himself coaching high school football and track. He also coached basketball for the middle school. Morrison is excited for his new position with the recreation district. The Bobcats, coming off a tough homecoming loss against Big Horn, were neck and neck with Lovell until the half, with both teams managing 18 points each. The Lady Cats volleyball team fell short against Lovell and Shoshoni this week, ending a string of successes that lasted almost two weeks prior to Saturday's Homecoming game against Shoshoni.
