There has been a lot of anticipation and speculation around the state of Wyoming regarding the reclassification as set by the Wyoming High School Activities Association (WHSAA). Classifications for the 2016-2017 and 2017-2018 school years were released by the WHSAA in August and Thermopolis is found in the 3A classification for all activities except football. Lizzy Lofink and Maggie Ryan, who had consistently strong performances over the course of the 2015 season, were honored with the selection. Bobcat Jules Ward brought home her second consecutive individual title from the 2A State Cross Country meet in Sheridan on Saturday. The girls brought home second place as a team. Ward finished the course with a time of 19:12. Ward won her title last year with a 19:15. Brad Morrison is the new director for the Hot Springs County Recreation District. Originally from Lamar, Colo., Morrison moved to Thermopolis five years ago with his wife, Staci.
