    This Saturday will see the Thermopolis High School Bobcats hit the track at the Yellowstone Sports Medicine Invite at Cody. The boys track team will see three returning letter winners this year, with junior Cullen Becher, a two-year letterman, and sophomores Ethan Becher and Chandler Maddock, both one-year. Once again the tournament will be held in the parking lot at Hot Springs County High School with 100% of the proceeds going to the Bobcat Booster Club to aid in the funding of school sports.     The Central Wyoming Cutting Club will host its final cuttings for the year March 16, 17 and 18. The goal of the Central Wyoming Cutting Club is to create a fun, relaxed atmosphere for horses and riders of all skill levels to participate in and enjoy the wonderful sport of cutting.     Temperatures are getting warmer and we’ve now got a few more hours of light in the evenings, the perfect time to get your child signed up for the Ready, Set, Run program through the Hot Springs County Recreation District.     The Thermopolis Bobcats had a tough time at the 3A Regional Tournament in Buffalo last week, losing to Douglas 72-30 on Thursday, and to Rawlins 51-38 Friday. Of Douglas, Thermopolis Coach Kevin Gerber said they went on to win regionals on our side, and they certainly showed why they were up there the whole season.     Six Bobcat wrestlers finished the season with more than half of their matches ending in victory. Leading the team were Cullen Becher (40-15),Koy Myers (36-17), Austen Ireland (18-11), Jonathan Harvey (16-11), Blake Williams (14-10), and Riley Shaffer (12-11).     At the Wyoming State High School Championships Friday and Saturday, Star Valley claimed the 3A title by outdistancing Powell by more than 90 points with their 266.5 points for their encore state title. The final event of the wrestling season was not the hoped for outcome for the Bobcats as they finished 14th of the 16 class 3A teams with 39 points.     Friday evening, Thermopolis went up against Rawlins on the road. Coach Kevin Gerber said the Bobcats stayed right with the Outlaws through three quarters, with 11 to Rawlins' 16 in the first.
