Thermopolis Middle School wrestlers Riley Shaffer and Logan Cole are on their way to compete at the Lee Pamulak Middle School National Dual Championship in Des Moines, Iowa March 25-27. Shaffer and Cole competed at the Middle School State Wrestling Championship earlier in March. Cole, in the 190 lb. weight class, placed second and received an automatic invite to nationals. Wyoming Senior Olympics Winter Games were held February 18-20 in Cody. Thermopolis area participants included Glenn and Marion Bishop, Joel and Jeri Farber, TJ Schoenewald, Dick Staiger, JW Bailey and Sallie Weesaw. All eight locals brought home medals.
