    The Hot Springs Recreation District Turkey Hoop Shoot has been rescheduled for Thursday, Dec. 8 at the armory. Registration begins at 6:30 p.m. with the event starting at 7 p.m. Parent participation is required. Children second grade through age 15 can participate.     About 90 boys are taking to the court Monday nights at Thermopolis Middle School, as part of the Hot Springs County Recreation Department's basketball season, which began Nov. 14.     The Lady Bobcat volleyball team finished their season last weekend at the regional tournament in Rawlins. First thing Friday morning the girls faced the Lady Bearcats from Douglas. The Cats dropped three straight games, 25-11, 25-10 and 25-13, sending them into Saturday play. Wheatland's Lady Bulldogs were eliminated from a State berth by the Lady Cats in three, 25-23, 25-17 and 27-25.     The Hot Springs County High School Cross Country finished their season Saturday, at the 3A State Championships in Sheridan. The girls team brought home a second place finish with 80 points; Star Valley took first with 58. Jules Ward came in at under 20 minutes for the course, with a second place finish of 19:17.92. Other teams competing at the meet were: Douglas - 71; Worland - 84; Buffalo - 106; and Wheatland - 163.
