Wyoming Senior Olympics Winter Games were held February 18-20 in Cody. Thermopolis area participants included Glenn and Marion Bishop, Joel and Jeri Farber, TJ Schoenewald, Dick Staiger, JW Bailey and Sallie Weesaw. All eight locals brought home medals. The Lady Cats girl's basketball team took the game early Friday and never relented, wining against Burlington 46-33. The girls had a lot more shot attempts due to the huge discrepancy in turnovers and offensive rebounds. The Bobcat Speech and Debate team traveled to Jackson last weekend for the Teton Invitational, returning with a third place in 1A/2A competition. If you have a child between kindergarten and eighth grade who loves to cheer on our hometown Bobcats, there is a camp designed especially for them. The Bobcat Cheer Camp is open to students wishing to learn the basics of cheerleading and wanting to be able to cheer at a boys varsity basketball game. The camp will take place from 10-11:30 a.m. on Saturday at the high school gym.
