There are two tee times for golfers on Saturday, 8 a.m. and 1 p.m. All golfers are welcome to play in this event and encouraged to do so. Its time to have a little fun in the dark for a good cause – the Glow Golf Tournament at the Thermopolis Golf Course to benefit the Hot Springs County High School golf team. The summer circuit of the Wyoming Junior Rodeo Association (WJRA) will be hitting Thermopolis on Saturday and Sunday, July 22 and 23. It’s the Battle of the Bighorns Kick ‘Em Up Cans barrel racing competition, coming to Thermopolis Friday, July 14 through Sunday, July 16. The Battle of the Bighorns began in Wright in June, followed by a second competition in Buffalo, with Thermopolis being the culminating event. The Thermopolis Wrestling Club will be putting on a freestyle and Greco-Roman technique camp on Saturday, July 15 at the Hot Springs County Armory Building. The weekend featured loads of excitement at the Hot Springs County Fairgrounds when the Thermopolis Cowboy Rendezvous PRCA Rodeo hit town. This Saturday marks the first of three team roping events being hosted at the Hot Springs County Fairgrounds by Durbin Creek Ranch.
