    The Lady Bobcat volleyball team finished their 2017 season with an up and down trip to the Regional Tournament in Newcastle. The girls played Douglas first, and according to coach Shannon Hill, it was the best they have played against the Lady Bearcats. In the first round, the girls lost to the Douglas Lady Bearcats in three, 14-25, 18-25 and 18-25, dropping them into the losers bracket.     Girls basketball through the Hot Springs County Recreation District kicks off next week with the first practices starting on Monday.
