    This Sunday, June 23 at First Baptist Church, they will honor Pastor Harvey and Lois Seidel for 25 years of ministry as Sr. Pastor. The celebration begins at 12:30 p.m. and is open to everyone.     Born and raised in Thermopolis, Nancy Madrigal graduated from Hot Springs County High School in 1968. Of her 50-year class reunion last year, she said, “we had a ball. We did our whole thing in the park and it was so much fun.” After high school, she attended Chadron State College and beauty school in Cour D’alene, Idaho, where she also had her daughter. Of nearly 500 submitted projects, 1552 were selected as possible contestants for two distinguished awards given by Phi Beta Kappa, the oldest and most prestigious honor society.     Six Wyoming units are deploying to the Middle East, one being 2nd battalion 300th Field Artillery. On May 8 they departed to Texas for some pre deployment training. Thermopolis resident and 2016 Hot Springs County High School graduate Adam Hanson left for a nine-month deployment.     Richard (Dick) Howe of Thermopolis was awarded a Quilt of Valor on May 11. Howe served in the US Army from 1967 to 1992. He attended Basic Training at Fort Lewis, Wash. and later trained as a combat medic. He was a member of the 2nd of 11th Cavalry, 101st Airborne and was deployed to Vietnam where he was involved in the Tet Offensive 1968 thru 1969.     The Hot Springs County School District's Board of Trustees unanimously agreed to name the school's auditorium after long-time music director, Bill Malloy. The William H. Malloy Auditorium will be formally named at a ceremony some time in the fall or early winter.
