    The Star Plunge aquatic facility at Hot Springs State Park remains open to the public due to the Wyoming State Parks granting an extension of the expiration of its current management agreement. The agreement was set to expire on Dec. 31, 2024. According to Wyoming State Parks, that two week extension is to allow Star Plunge management additional time to work out a potential sale.     Hot Springs County Assessor Daniel Webber has announced that currently qualified Hot Springs County veterans or their surviving spouse should contact the Assessor’s Office by telephone to renew their Veteran’s Exemption for 2025 on their property taxes. If the applicant will be using the exemption for vehicle licensing, they will need to stop by the Assessor’s Office when they come in the courthouse to renew their registration.     Big Springs FFA Members have been busy serving our community. Part of the FFA motto is “Living to Serve” and that’s exactly what members have been busy doing. FFA members pitched in to purchase a full thanksgiving dinner for a family in town.
