    The 2020 Junior Livestock Auction and Blue Ribbon Bake Sale at the Hot Springs County Fairgrounds on Friday night was a huge success, with total sales amounting to $180,195.25, up from $123,146 last year. Along with sheep, swine and beef, there were baked goods that went on the auction block, too. Twenty-two head of beef came through the ring this year, three more than went up for auction last year.     Entries and viewers filled the streets for the Pageant Days Parade last Saturday. Specialty Towing employee Jake Yeaman passed out candy to those lining the streets.     With the start of school just around the corner, it is time once again for the People for People Backpack program to get rolling. The program is a group of volunteers in the community dedicated to stopping hunger for local children by filling backpacks with food that are distributed on Friday’s so they have something to eat over the weekend. For many years, the Foundation hosted an annual golf outing at Thermopolis Golf Course, to raise awareness of the Foundation’s Mission to support Hot Springs County Memorial Hospital.
