    On November 17, 1920, 12 Thermopolis women gathered to form Chapter K P.E.O. Today, almost 100 years later we gather to recognize the many accomplishments of Chapter. Over these 100 years, 195 women have participated. Currently there are 19 members in Chapter K. During the early years the members raised funds from a variety of efforts. Donations ranged from food baskets to the needy, eye glasses for a needy child, one month’s utility bills for a nursery, decorating a hospital room and many more.     At Saturday night's fundraiser for the Tori Rollins family, Will Farrell assists Breckon Craft in delivering a cookie jar to Raegan Shaffer. A good sized crowd gathered at the fair building for a pulled pork dinner and to bid on auction items. In July, Rollins was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer called Synovial Sarcoma.     A Pulled Pork Dinner and Cookie Jar Auction benefitting 22-year-old Tori Lynn Rollins will be held Saturday, Sept. 26 at the Hot Springs County Fair Building. Tori is the daughter of former Thermopolis residents Justin and Elaine Rollins. In July, she was diagnosed with a rare cancer called Synovial Sarcoma. She is currently undergoing chemo treatments in Denver. Once chemo is complete, she will require surgery, physical therapy and radiation.
