Commander Tobi Johansen of VFW Post No. 2281 spoke last Saturday in recognition of Veterans Day. The ceremony was attended by a variety of supporters, an Honor Guard and 'Taps' was played while the American flag was raised. The Avenue of Flags were put up at the Monument Cemetery in honor of Veterans Day. The public visited and paid respect to those buried there and named on the flags.
