Wyoming State Park, Historical Sites and Trails invites people to participate in a “First Day Hike” on Friday, January 1 beginning at 10 a.m. For the hike in Hot Springs State Park, hikers will meet at the Chamber of Commerce office. Christmas came early for Robert James, 82, a resident at Thermopolis Rehabilitation and Wellness (TRW) with the gift of a guitar. DeAnna Myers points to one of the beautifully decorated trees during the 20th annual Festival Of Trees auction held last Thursday. This year, $18,000 dollars was raised to go into the Thermopolis Community Fund. The event was attended by over 100 people and featured 11 trees, 13 wreaths and eight specialty items. Hot Springs Dance (HSD) will hold their 5th annual Winter Show, Marvel-ous, on Saturday, Dec. 4 at 6 p.m. in the Hot Springs County School Auditorium.
