    The Culpepper & Merriweather Circus came through town last Saturday with two shows at 2 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. in the area across from 220 Park Street, adjacent to the fairgrounds. Prior to the performances, kids were able to experience pony rides, a giant inflatable slide, the moon bounce and have their faces painted.     Red Dirt Master Gardeners awarded Geneva Baird as the Garden of the Month. Baird is 89 years old and has worked at the County Historical Museum for the past 10 years. Baird said, "I just love flowers. They are more beautiful if you take care of them. I love the museum." Museum director Rachel Moon said, "We couldn't replace her. She's amazing. She never stops." The flowers were originally donated as part of the Peggy Shaffer memorial ten years ago when the garden started....
