Auctioneer Gary Nash took bids at the Christmas Tree Auction held at the Community Hall last Tuesday. There were 14 trees, 12 wreaths, and 10 specialty items auctioned off. The total amount raised for the Community Fund was more than $16,000....
The Buffalo Creek Foundation donated a doll house that went up for auction at the Christmas Tree Festival and will now be on permanent display at the Wyoming Pioneer Home for the public to enjoy. The foundation's representative Sue Blakey and her mother Bea Seaver were the third owners of the doll house when they purchased it in 2000. Originally built in 1979, the first owner is not known. The First Annual Angel Shop sponsored by Redeeming Hope Ministries, led by Miranda Nelson, was held at the Community Hall last Sunday. Donations come from the community with items from home or newly purchased, as well as financial donations.
