A Pulled Pork Dinner and Cookie Jar Auction benefitting 22-year-old Tori Lynn Rollins will be held Saturday, Sept. 26 at the Hot Springs County Fair Building. Tori is the daughter of former Thermopolis residents Justin and Elaine Rollins. In July, she was diagnosed with a rare cancer called Synovial Sarcoma. She is currently undergoing chemo treatments in Denver. Once chemo is complete, she will require surgery, physical therapy and radiation. Hot Springs County Memorial Hospital Foundation, Inc. reprised its Annual Golf Tournament on August 15. For many years, the Foundation had hosted an annual golf outing at Thermopolis Golf Course, to raise awareness of the Foundation’s Mission to support Hot Springs Memorial Hospital. National Public Lands Hot Springs State Park is looking for volunteers to be part of the largest single-day volunteer effort in the United States – National Public Lands Day.
